The plant consists of two orbit positioners parallel to the slide forthe moving of the robot which controls the position and the speed.The rotating heads of the two lathe positioners are powered by twomotors in a.c. with adjustable speed.The two free tailstocks can be placed on a single bench and can bemanually moved along the bench itself for the welding of big pieces.
